“ Couple of days back I ordered Goat Curry to go . The taste was just excellent. I would say 10 on 10 . But one thing that I thought was not right was quantity of meat in the curry. For $18 dish there was not enough meat compared to other Indian restaurants in South Bay . Hopefully it was an isolated incident . ”

“ Haven't been here in awhile. I was looking to get a lunch combo because it's a sampler plate. But they don't have it anymore. So I ended up getting a chicken tikka masala. The curry was flavourful but chicken was not cut into bite size pieces. Chicken looks premarinated. Vegetables have a crunch which makes me think there's a master stock and vegetables are added later. Was very helpful and patient on the phone when I tried to place my to go order. Didn't have to wait too long to receive my order at the restaurant. Inside is clean and has ample room for the buffet. ”

“ Food is good here. My friend who is from India took me here & ordered for us. As an Asian girl who only gets to eat buttered chicken & curries, this food is authentic. It's not straight from India authentic, but for the southbay in Lawndale it's pretty good!!! We had sambar vada, chicken masala dosa, chapati, and channa masala. I will come back for their Thursday night dosa buffets for $19!!! ”

“ Finally found excellent dosas in LA! After trying a variety of South Indian restaurants in the region, my husband and I have been very disappointed that while most restaurants have very good South Indian dishes, their dosas were mostly terrible. We even tried South Indian restaurants in Artesia and were very disappointed with the dosas. My husband did some online searching and read about this restaurant so we decided to give it a try. To our surprise, everything had been excellent so far! Dosas are properly made. And the biryani and other dishes are equally good. We've dined in at the restaurant and ordered takeout and the quality has been consistent. So glad we found this place!! ”

“ Came here on their dosa night buffet, it was chaotic and busy. But we weren't phased by it. We were patient and waited for our waiter. We wanted to order off the menu, not participate in the buffet. We ordered butter chicken, samosa chat and a mango lassi. The food is always delicious here! ”

“ They specialize in the many vegetarian dishes of south India, which is harder to find in LA and the South Bay. I am a sucker for Sambar with Idly, and theirs really hits the spot. Chana masala is a chickpea comfort, a thick and cohesive curry. Egg curry is one I've never tried, and I'm glad I did. The eggs add some oomph to the smooth tomato-based curry, just perfect over naan and rice. Everything I ordered just happened to be the same color, but each dish was distinctly delicious. On the afternoon that we visited, their lunch buffet was in full effect but the staff let me know that the vegan options at the buffet were minimal. Which is why we decided to order off the menu instead. ”
